Turkish Airlines touched down in Australia with its inaugural flight on Saturday 2nd March 2024, landing at Melbourne Airport at 8.40pm.

Turkish Airlines will operate a service that runs three times a week between Istanbul, Singapore and Melbourne
This addition to the airline’s route network represents a significant milestone for Turkish Airlines, with Melbourne becoming its 346th destination and Australia its 130th country.
Economy fares from Melbourne start from $1,499 return, valid for ticketing until April 15, 2024, for travel from March 15 to May 15 2024. Business fares from Melbourne will start from $7,599 return, for ticketing between until 15th April, for travel from March 1 to May 15.
Professor Dr. Ahmet Bolat, chairman of the board and the executive committee of Turkish Airlines said the airline is proud to solidify the existing connection between Türkiye and Australia and is excited for passengers to have a travel experience like no other.
