The World’s Best Awards are the result of a T+L reader survey, asking them to share their opinions on the top hotels, resorts, islands, cruise ships, spas, airlines and more.

For the hotel category, the results are based on their facilities, location, service, food and overall value.

The highest ranking Australian hotel was Kangaroo Island’s Southern Ocean Lodge!
