Unforgettable Croatia has launched a new private island oyster tasting experience as part of its calls to Ston, at no additional cost on itineraries operating between Dubrovnik and Split.

It transports guests via small boat from the medieval town of Ston to the small, private of Banja to hear from experts about the growing and harvesting process. A fresh oyster and mussel tasting experience is offered, paired with locally produced wine from the region.

The island is located in the bay of Mali Ston on the Peljesac peninsula, where a specific species of European flat oyster flourishes in the unique mix of freshwater and seawater.

“We know today’s travellers want more than just sightseeing; they want to feel part of the places they visit,” Unforgettable Croatia co-founder Graham Carter said. “This private island oyster tasting excursion is unique to us, ensuring guests take home memories as fresh and distinctive as the oysters themselves.”

In 2026, Unforgettable Croatia is offering 145 guaranteed departures along Croatia’s Dalmatian Coast between May and October. Ports of call include well-known favourites such as the medieval town of Trogir and Hvar, alongside lesser-known, hidden gems including Korcula, Vis and the national parks of Mljet and Krka. Itineraries which operate between Split and Dubrovnik include the new oyster island experience.

All Unforgettable Croatia cruises include:

  • Seven nights on a luxury yacht
  • Breakfast and a three-course lunch onboard every day
  • Two onboard dinners
  • Complimentary tea
  • Coffee and water
  • Daily swim stops and complimentary use of onboard water sports
  • Wi-Fi
  • Excursions including expert-guided tours
  • A professional cruise director
  • Onboard lectures and experiences
  • Private luxury transfers.

Most evenings are spent ashore exploring local towns at leisure, offering guests the chance to taste local cuisine and soak up the atmosphere of Croatia’s picturesque coastal ports.

A seven-night Unforgettable Croatia cruise is priced from $2,395 per person twin share (flights are not included).
