UTracks’ guided Mont Blanc Rambler Hike is attracting travellers who want the iconic Tour du Mont Blanc scenery without the pressure of a fast-paced walk.

The Mont Blanc Rambler Guided Hike itinerary forms part of UTracks’ Rambler Collection, a curated selection of extended walking itineraries designed for travellers who have earned the time to truly savour their journeys. The Rambler tours transform Europe’s most celebrated trails into achievable, comfortable itineraries, where daily walking distances are reduced and more time is spent in carefully chosen towns along the way, while preserving the full cultural and scenic experience.

Reimagined classic alpine journey

The Mont Blanc Rambler Guided Hike is a seven-day alpine walk that delivers the famed highlights of the Tour du Mont Blanc while allowing time to properly absorb the landscapes, villages and alpine culture along the way.

Specially devised for hikers who prefer to take it all in, the itinerary focuses on high mountain passes, meadows filled with alpine flowers and traditional villages, all supported by an experienced bilingual guide and small group format.

Three countries, one alpine journey

Starting in Chamonix, the walk traverses France, Switzerland and Italy, following renowned sections of the Tour du Mont Blanc through Le Tour, Trient, Champex, La Fouly, Grand Col Ferret and Rifugio Berthone before descending to Courmayeur.

With daily walks of approximately two to seven hours (approx 10-17km) and a moderate grading, the trip is suited to active walkers seeking rewarding alpine days balanced with time to enjoy the scenery and local culture.

Classic alpine experience with small group support

Travellers walk alongside an experienced mountain guide, with luggage transfers provided by vehicle on most days. Accommodation is in traditional gîte hostels and mountain refuges on a multi share basis, offering an authentic mountain experience.

Meals are included daily, with continental breakfasts, picnic style lunches featuring local ingredients and two or three course evening meals showcasing regional specialties.

Trip highlights:

  • Trek through alpine scenery around the highest peak in Western Europe
  • Experience hiking across France, Switzerland and Italy
  • Enjoy regional specialties
  • Walk with a small group and experienced guide
  • Relaxed pacing designed to allow time to appreciate the landscape

The seven-day guided alpine walk is priced from $2,390 per person which includes:

  • 6 breakfasts, 6 lunches, 6 dinners
  • 6 nights’ accommodation
  • Luggage transfers
  • Experienced mountain guide
