A video went viral earlier this week, showing a United Airlines worker fighting a former NFL player at an airport.
The video, which has been circulating on social media for the past few days, picks up in the middle of the fight.
Viewers can see the worker and the former NFL player punching and shoving one another at Newark Liberty International Airport.
The staff member, an employee with United subsidiary United Ground Express, got knocked to the ground and there appears to be blood coming from his head. However, the worker gets up and continues fighting.
According to New York Post, the player is former Denver Broncos cornerback Brendan Langley, who was later arrested on assault charges.
He later tweeted that he was only defending himself.
CBS News reported that a longer video shows Langley throwing the first punches and the employee slapping the former football player in the face.
This is when Langley begins throwing more punches and knocks the employee to the ground.
The United Airlines worker has since been fired.
“United Airlines does not tolerate violence of any kind at our airports or on board our planes and we are working with local authorities in their investigation of this matter,” a United Airlines statement read.
“United Ground Express informed us that the employee has been terminated.”
