This offering gives Australian passengers the opportunity to enjoy an authentic taste of Vietnam at 10,000m while travelling during one of the country’s most important cultural celebrations.

Carefully crafted by leading culinary specialists, the 2026 Lunar New Year menu highlights traditional dishes representing Vietnam’s regional culinary heritage. Featured selections include steamed pork balls with wood ear mushrooms, braised pork served with rice, red sticky rice with chicken sausage, Hanoi-style chicken noodle soup, vermicelli with chicken and bamboo shoots, and bitter melon soup with fish paste. Passengers can also enjoy traditional Vietnamese desserts such as green rice and lotus seed sweet soup, and lotus seed and longan sweet soup.

Each dish reflects symbolic meanings associated with Vietnam’s Lunar New Year traditions. The vibrant red sticky rice represents prosperity and good fortune, braised pork reflects family gatherings and reunion meals, while bitter melon soup symbolises wishes for challenges to pass and a peaceful new year ahead.
