Travellers have voted Vietjet as the winner of two recognitions at the 2026 Flyers’ Choice Awards organised by AirlineRatings.
Travellers worldwide voted Vietjet as the winner of the “Favourite Low-Cost Carrier” and “Best Cabin Crew Uniform” awards.
The wins recognise Vietjet’s growing international appeal, from its brand and fleet to its affordable fares and diverse onboard experience.
The awards come as the airline continues to strengthen its presence in Australia, as it has recently announced service between Western Sydney and Ho Chi Minh City, connecting travellers with Vietnam and onward destinations across Asia. The airline’s network provides Australians more choice for holidays, visits and business, with connections to destinations across Vietjet’s broader Vietnam domestic and international network.
For Australians travelling to Vietnam, the airline’s expanding network also provides opportunities to experience Vietnam’s diverse destinations from the energy of Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi to beaches, food, culture and heritage across the country.
“Winning in two categories marks an important tipping point for Vietjet,” AirlineRatings CEO Sharon Petersen said. “The airline is now firmly recognised on the global stage, with its uniform playing a key role in that recognition.”
Vietjet’s distinctive cabin crew uniform has become an important part of the airline’s identity. European designers created the uniform, which combines Vietjet’s signature red with youthful, contemporary styling inspired by youth cadet attire.
Vietjet has consistently maintained AirlineRatings’ highest seven-star safety rating and has been recognised among the world’s safest airlines for years. Other organisations such as CAPA and the World Travel Awards have also awarded the airline.
Around 40,000 travellers cast verified votes in this year’s Flyers’ Choice Awards.
