Viking has been named the Official Cruise Line of the PGA TOUR and PGA TOUR Champions under a new multi-year marketing partnership running through to 2030.
The agreement will focus on boosting brand awareness for Viking via media and digital placements across PGA TOUR platforms, targeting golf fans globally.
Viking executive vice president of marketing Richard Marnell said the partnership was a natural fit, noting that both golf and travel are key interests for many Viking guests and align with the cruise line’s focus on culturally enriching experiences.
PGA TOUR executive vice president of corporate partnerships Dan Glod said the tour was “excited to introduce Viking to our fans worldwide,” describing the brand as a globally recognised leader known for memorable and enriching travel experiences.
Founded in 1997, Viking operates a fleet of more than 100 ships across rivers and oceans worldwide and has a longstanding history of supporting cultural institutions and events.
