Viking has unveiled its new 2026-2028 River Brochure, a 232-page guide that showcases Viking as a global leader in experiential travel.
The new brochure features a refreshed design, enhanced itinerary content, and expanded planning tools for both agents and their clients. To support the booking experience, it also incorporates QR codes linking to exclusive Viking resources, including destination guides, ship tours, first-time river cruising advice and the latest special offers.
Viking continues to expand its destination-focused offerings with a collection of new itineraries designed to deliver deeper cultural experiences and showcase some of the world’s most iconic regions.
- The new 15-day Wonders of India voyage combines an 8-day Brahmaputra River voyage with immersive land experiences in Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur, marking Viking’s first river sailings in India debuting in late 2027.
- The new 18-day Rhine, Main & Danube Odyssey itinerary takes guests through Europe’s cultural heartlands, from Basel and Alsace to Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg, with stops in Frankfurt, Salzburg, Vienna, and Budapest.
- The unique 17-day Iberian Odyssey voyage blends ocean and river exploration, from the Mediterranean’s Moorish cities to the Douro River Valley, with overnights in Lisbon and visits to Tangier and Barcelona.
Viking continues to expand its river fleet worldwide. In addition to new ships planned for the waterways of Europe, Viking is further strengthening its presence on the Nile, operating one of the region’s most modern and extensive river fleets. Egypt remains one of the world’s most sought‑after travel destinations, with global interest fuelled by its remarkable history and deeply immersive cultural experiences.
“With 2028 sailings now open, guests and travel partners can plan ahead and take advantage of our Explorer Sale, which offers free airfares and significant savings,” Viking ANZ managing director Michelle Black said. “This launch follows a major milestone: reaching 100 ships across Viking’s river, ocean, and expedition fleet. We’re excited to introduce a range of new itineraries that reflect Viking’s commitment to cultural discovery, including our first river voyages in India along the Brahmaputra, and extended itineraries through Europe’s heartlands.”
