Virgin Australia has launched more than a million domestic and international sale fares, with some deals going as low as $49, across 34 destinations.
Virgin Australia Holidays by Hopper also dropped a sale on flight and accommodation packages to destinations like Cairns and Bali from just $390 per person on certain deals. Travellers can also nab Business Class fares from as low as $219 one-way, which includes priority check-in and boarding, Lounge access, reclined leather seating, and all-inclusive onboard dining.
The sale fares are available to book from Monday 20 July until 11:59pm AEST Monday 27 July 2026 for selected travel dates between 25 August 2026 to 22 June 2027.
The major sale comes as new research from money.com.au found nearly half, 46 per cent, of surveyed Australians rank saving for a holiday as their top financial goal for the year.
“We know Australians are continuing to make travel a priority, and with almost half of those Australians surveyed putting it as their number one savings goal, we’re making it easier to turn these travel goals into reality,” Virgin Australia executive Libby Minogue said.
“Whether it’s a quick weekend escape, an overseas adventure or treating yourself to Business Class, there’s something for every Aussie traveller, with great value fares and packages across domestic and international destinations.”
Virgin Australia is also offering upgrades to Economy X premium extra legroom seating from just $12 per person. Velocity Frequent Flyer members can also earn up to double Status Credits on eligible holiday packages booked by 27 July 2026.
