Virgin Australia is inviting passengers to a food festival in the sky, with a new winter menu in Economy and Business Class made fresh daily.
Virgin Australia has unveiled five new additions to the airline’s Economy Class buy onboard menu available from today. Economy passengers can now tuck into Italian indulgences from St Food Co. such as the creamy spinach and ricotta tortellini, alongside Aussie favourites like the savoury beef snack pie and sausage roll. All perfectly paired with a refreshing Archie Rose Gin & Peach Soda.
And from 28 May, Virgin Australia is treating Business Class flyers to a selection of globally inspired dishes, including Japanese-style soba noodles with grilled chicken, a three-bean Mexican quesadilla with sour cream and salsa and an Indian-inspired chickpea masala with herbed jasmine rice.
The new Business menu includes Soba noodles.
Virgin Australia general manager Product & Customer Strategy Kyler Chong said the latest menu refresh reflects the airline’s commitment to delivering remarkable experiences full of personality, value and choice.

Today’s new menu announcement forms part of Virgin Australia’s continued investment in the customer experience. It follows new innovations including digital receipts for onboard purchases and its Australian airline-first baggage tracking technology.
Chicken parmi is also on the menu.
New winter menu: Business Class
Launching on May 28, the new menu has been thoughtfully crafted and rigorously taste-tested. It features a range of additional highlights across breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert, including:
Mango coconut chia pudding with apple and cranberry granola and strawberry
Blueberry pancake stack with mascarpone and boysenberry, blackcurrant and apple compote
Pulled beef macaroni cheese with barbecue sauce
Chicken parmigiana with mixed roast vegetables and sweet potato wedges
Cheese tortellini, sun-dried tomato pesto cream with herbed sweet potato, roasted cherry tomato and cheese with optional chicken
Brown rice salad with edamame, tabouleh, Japanese soy dressing and chicken
Sticky date cake
All menu selections in Business Class will have vegetarian options, in addition to a protein selection on every flight.
