“With many Australians back at work today and the out-of-office sadly switched off, there’s no better time to start planning and booking a 2026 holiday, because the best way to survive day one back is knowing your next getaway is locked in,” Virgin Australia chief marketing and customer operations officer Libby Minogue said.

“From quick interstate weekend escapes to tropical international getaways, it’s a great time for Australians to take advantage of one of the best Virgin Australia sales of the year with fares starting from just $49 one-way and upgrades to our premium extra legroom seating starting from just $17. There’s really not a better time to plan and book travel.”

All Virgin Australia fares and holiday packages include the ability for Velocity Frequent Flyer members to earn and redeem Points, helping members get even greater value on their next getaway or to build that Points balance faster.
