Global luxury travel network Virtuoso has unveiled its 2026 Virtuoso Cruise Icons, recognising the highest-performing cruise specialists across its worldwide advisor network.
A total of 178 advisors globally earned the designation this year, representing what Virtuoso describes as the top tier of cruise sellers within its network.
The 2026 cohort reflects tighter qualification standards introduced following the program’s annual review. Virtuoso said the benchmark was raised to ensure Cruise Icon status continues to recognise exceptional individual sales performance, rather than simply reflecting broader growth in the luxury cruise sector.
“Cruise Icons are the advisors the industry looks to when there are market shifts or demand accelerates,” said Cory Hagopian, senior vice president, global partnerships at Virtuoso.
“They set the standard for how clients engage with luxury cruising across every category, how preferred partners position their products and how the sector continues to evolve.”
The program also provides advisors with exclusive networking and collaboration opportunities, including quarterly strategy sessions, access to insights through Virtuoso’s Cruise Community and recognition during Virtuoso Travel Week, the network’s flagship global gathering.
As part of the program, Icons will also have access to **dedicated charter sailings with AmaWaterways along Colombia’s Magdalena River in September 2026, designed to highlight emerging luxury cruise destinations and products.
