Virtuoso has wrapped up its national On Tour series across Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, marking the first regional tour for new general manager, Australia & New Zealand, Kara Glamore.

The events highlighted Virtuoso’s ongoing commitment to the Australia and New Zealand market, bringing members and preferred partners together to strengthen industry relationships and provide advisors with direct access to the latest luxury travel experiences and suppliers.

The first event in Melbourne on Tuesday featured a breakfast for Virtuoso members, where agency owners and managers gathered to welcome Glamore and discuss priorities for the region. This was followed by Virtuoso’s On Tour events in Sydney (Wednesday) and Brisbane (Thursday), sponsored by Malta Tourism Authority, creating dedicated opportunities for advisor connection and learning.

The curated mix of global and new-to-market partners is a defining feature of the On Tour events, giving advisors direct access to experiences and suppliers not widely available in the region. Sales executives and representatives from some of luxury travel’s most prominent brands – spanning all seven continents, turned out to meet with Virtuoso’s advisors.

More than 50 per cent of participating partners were new or returning after a significant hiatus from Australia and New Zealand. This deliberate approach created valuable opportunities, as well as a market advantage, for advisors to forge new connections and gain insight into emerging products and experiences for their clients.

“This week I have witnessed firsthand, what makes Virtuoso truly unique is the strength of the human connections across our network,” Glamore said. “Bringing together our advisors with partners from around the world in a meaningful, face-to-face way creates opportunities you simply can’t replicate elsewhere. This week demonstrated how those relationships directly translate into better outcomes for travellers and why Virtuoso advisors continue to set the benchmark for excellence in luxury travel.”

Australia and New Zealand remain a strategically important market within Virtuoso’s global footprint, both as a source of high-value travellers and as a destination in strong demand from international markets. Events such as On Tour play a critical role in strengthening these relationships and ensuring advisors have access to the latest products, partners and experiences for their clients.
