Virtuoso’s advisor ratings have reached an 11-year high, according to their Reviews & Recommendations Program with a record-breaking rating of 99.3 for 2024.
Thousands of Virtuoso advisors boast a 100 per cent recommendation rate, according to the figures, with Michael Nolan among the top-rated advisors in Australia and New Zealand with 99 reviews.
“Receiving a positive review from a client after their travels is always a delight,” said Nolan, Managing director of Bayview Travel in Brighton.

“There’s something truly gratifying about seeing their feedback in writing, knowing they’ve taken the time to formally acknowledge their satisfaction with your service and recommendations. Such reviews not only serve as a wonderful ongoing endorsement for you and the agency but also attract new enquiries from potential clients. I’m confident that any potential client would read those reviews with great interest.
“On the other hand, if the review is not positive, it provides a chance to address any concerns and improve. I also love that the forum provides the client the opportunity to share their comments regarding the Virtuoso partners they experienced. This provides invaluable feedback for the whole Virtuoso community.”
Research from Virtuoso showed that 70 per cent of consumers rely on online reviews to guide their purchasing decisions, and reviews are the most important motivator for consumers who do not work with a travel advisor to choose their travel options.
Since its inception, the decade old proprietary Virtuoso Reviews & Recommendations Program has garnered tens of thousands of reviews, and this year, the network’s advisors achieved a record-high rating average of 99.3, while Virtuoso partners continue a consistent streak of 93.9.
The Virtuoso Reviews & Recommendations Program sends an automated email to clients who booked through a Virtuoso advisor five days after their scheduled trip concludes and asks them two simple questions – whether they would recommend their Virtuoso advisor and any Virtuoso preferred partners on their trip itinerary to a friend.
“We’ve sent over a million invitations to travellers to submit their feedback via the Virtuoso Reviews & Recommendations Program, and the response rate is four times higher than the industry average, showing that Virtuoso travellers are eager to share their thoughts,” said Virtuoso executive vice president David Kolner. “The overwhelmingly positive ratings are an ode to the dedication that both our advisors and partners have in providing clients with the best experiences possible.”
