VOMO Island Fiji has appointed luxury travel and tourism specialist PEPR Agency to lead its public relations strategy across Australia, New Zealand and the United States.
The appointment coincides with the VOMO Island’s reopening following a renovation to refine its offering as one of Fiji’s most sought-after island resorts.
PEPR Agency’s cross-continent scope includes strategic PR and content creation alongside key leader engagement and brand partnerships.
The agency’s current portfolio includes COMO Hotels and Resorts, Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, Jumeirah Hotels, Virgin Australia, Cunard, Explora Journeys, Aqua Expeditions and Outrigger Hospitality Group.

General manager of VOMO Island Fiji, Leon Pink, said that the partnership feels like a natural fit.
“VOMO Island has always evolved thoughtfully over time. This renovation felt like the natural next chapter, honouring what people already love, while ensuring the experience continues to feel special for years to come.
“Partnering with PEPR feels equally natural, for a team that truly understands luxury travel and shares our commitment to telling the VOMO story,” he said.
PEPR Agency founder and director Philip Engelberts said that the agency is proud to be trusted to help shape and share VOMO’s story.
“VOMO is a remarkable brief. There is no other private island in the Pacific that combines this level of access and genuine all-inclusive luxury.
“VOMO’s welcoming approach very much aligns with our own agency values and culture, and together, we share a commitment to connecting VOMO with the world’s most discerning travellers,” he said.

Reimagining paradise
At the heart of the renovation is the transformation of the resort’s central Vuda Space.
Previously home to a single venue, it now houses nine distinct spaces including an arrival lounge, pond, cabanas, beach lounge and the reimagined Vuda Bar & Restaurant.
The resort’s two-bedroom villas have also been refreshed to increase space and privacy for guests.
