W Brisbane, part of Marriott International, is set to amplify Queensland’s incentives and events offering when the hotel opens in March 2018.

The first five-star hotel to open in Brisbane’s central business district (CBD) in 20 years, W Brisbane will showcase approximately 1,100 square metres of vibrant indoor and outdoor event and meeting spaces, with bookings now open.

W Brisbane is bringing W’s bold design and its spin on luxury, to the western end of the CBD.

The closest, largest, five-star hotel to the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre (BCEC) and just 18 kilometres from Brisbane Airport at 300 George Street, W Brisbane will boast stellar views across the Brisbane River to South Bank and Mount Coot-tha.

“W Brisbane’s innovative event spaces and meeting rooms will raise the calibre of Brisbane’s business events offering to new heights, establishing the city’s reputation as a leader in the field – not just in Australia, but more widely across the Asia Pacific region,” shared Haldon Philp, General Manager, W Brisbane.

“We’re looking forward to revealing the new hotel, which will be a game-changer for the conference, incentive and events market in Brisbane.”

W Brisbane’s sprawling 595 square metre, pillarless Great Room will cater for large productions or conferences of up to 450 guests banquet style, or can be divided into three separate spaces for events of up to 150 guests.

W Brisbane will be the only hotel in Queensland to feature built in permanent LED screens, which can be used individually or pushed together to create one large LED wall to feature highly engaging content that pops.

In-house projection mapping technology will bring banquet tables to life with striking creatives or corporate logos.

With floor-to-ceiling glass doors opening onto individual outdoor terraces overlooking the Brisbane River, W Brisbane’s Studios and Strategy Room provide the perfect setting for intimate gatherings and meetings.

With a fully adaptable design, these spaces are equipped with world class audio-visual facilities, setting the stage for unforgettable presentations.

Mood music, designer finishes, signature scents and creative culinary options will all come together to elevate the most important business.

Each of W Brisbane’s event venues lead on to the contemporary Foyer space, where event planners can set the scene.

Flooded with natural light from a striking skylight and boasting a wrap-around outdoor terrace and purpose-built bar, the Foyer is ideal for stylish receptions of up to 230 guests.

Or guests can live it up riverside at the iconic WET Deck. This space offers a glam oasis in the heart of Brisbane’s CBD and transforms into a magnetic event location for up to 200 guests (104 seated).

Here, guests can enjoy the stellar views with champagne and cocktails in hand partnered with Aussie barbeque fare and DJ beats, beside a 20-metre pool.

This coveted space can also be enclosed with floor-to-ceiling windows for all-weather entertaining, with no compromise on views.

W Brisbane’s signature restaurant will redefine hotel dining and create a stand out culinary destination in Brisbane, featuring the freshest locally-sourced produce and an entertaining open cooking element.

The venue showcases an unmistakable alfresco vibe, within an eclectic setting, that invites the Queensland outdoors in, catering for up to 158 seated guests.

To celebrate the end of a successful event or to keep the party going, W Brisbane’s Living Room (the brand’s take on the lobby) will provide a perfect lively hub for evening drinks and music.

Between meetings or as part of an incentive program, delegates can get their glow on at the AWAY® Spa, which can be booked out exclusively.

Guests can detox with a sublime massage, get a salon ready hair-do, facial, a mani and pedi and other quick fixes.

The spa’s relaxation pods, vitality pools, experience showers and salt inhalation chambers will leave delegates feeling rejuvenated and detoxed.

For those who don’t like to miss a workout, the ultra-modern FIT® gym with the latest equipment by TechnoGym is open 24 hours, or W Brisbane’s fitness experts can curate a group FUEL session tailored for a specific conference or event.

Inspired by its Queensland locale, W Brisbane will feature 312 stylish guestrooms with custom furnishings and interiors, including 29 suites, two Wow Suites and the Extreme Wow Suite (the brand’s modern interpretation of a Presidential Suite), all showcasing stellar river views.

Signature W comforts will ensure a luxurious business stay, including the plush W bathrobe, signature Bliss amenities and W bed.

Delegates can unwind with their favourite tunes amplified by state of the art Bowers & Wilkins Bluetooth speaker or films and TV shows on the 55’’ LED TVs, before stirring up a cocktail from the in-room W Mixbar. Complimentary Wi-Fi ensures delegates are always connected.
