The Walshe Group have appointed Brett Walsh as the new Country Manager for its GSA, All Nippon Airways (ANA).

Walsh brings both air and travel industry experience to the role, and was most recently Country Manager Australia of Aircalin (Air Caledonie International).brett-walsh

Prior to joining Aircalin, he was a senior executive with Thai Airways, and had also spent 8 years in consolidation.

The Japanese-based ANA launched the inaugural Sydney-Haneda route in December giving Australians access to ANA’s domestic flights network spanning over 40 cities, with flights landing close to the Japanese capital. The route was also expected to be a major boost for growing the ski market to Japan.

Star Wars fans will also be happy to know the route will be serviced by one of ANA’s R2-D2 Dreamliners due to continue the flight for the next five years.
