This plane passenger gave himself quite a scare while trying to amuse himself on a flight home.

Sean Bolis, a professional skateboarder from California was looking for some entertainment during a six-hour flight when he decided to try out the old toilet paper flush trick, according to Stuff.

What’s the toilet paper flush trick, you ask? It’s when cheeky passengers use the extreme flush power on plane toilets to make an entire roll of toilet paper dissapear.

Here’s a handy gif to demonstrate.

Unfortunately for Bolis, things didn’t exactly go to plan when he tried the trick out. The force of the flush also managed to rip the toilet paper holder right off the wall.

He told Stuff he managed to fix the holder back onto the wall but worked himself into a bit of a panic in the process and said he was worried the broken fixture would set off an alarm.

“When it started I was freaking out about how much paper was getting sucked into the toilet so fast but was stoked at the same time because it was hilarious,” he said.

“Unfortunately it didn’t go as planned. The casing falling off was not even a thought.

“My plan was to karate chop the paper mid-flush, but before I knew it the casing came tumbling off, which really freaked me out.

“I thought it was going to clog the toilet completely and set off some sort of alarm system. I was totally shook for about five seconds until the flush had finally timed out.

“It actually popped right back into place with a few wiggles and a little force.”
