Webjet OTA CEO David Galt will step down at the end of March 2026, concluding a nearly 20-year career with the company, including around a decade leading the online travel agency division.
In a statement, Webjet Group said Galt had decided to leave the business to take a meaningful break, focusing on rest and spending time with his family.
“After nearly two decades with Webjet, David Galt has made the decision to step away from the business and will finish with us at the end of March 2026. He will be taking a meaningful break to focus on rest and time with his family this year. We thank him for his significant contribution to Webjet’s journey and evolution, and wish him the best for what comes next.
“For the Webjet OTA business, it remains business as usual with a highly capable and experienced team in place. The Board and Group CEO will now consider the appropriate leadership structure moving forward.”
Galt joined Webjet in 2007 and has held a range of senior roles across the business, including in marketing and regional leadership, before being appointed CEO of the Webjet OTA division in 2016.
Webjet said operations within the OTA business would continue as normal, with an experienced leadership team remaining in place while the Board and Group CEO determine the future leadership structure.
