Qantas has launched a major international sale, discounting more than 400,000 seats to over 30 destinations across its global network starting from $359.

The week-long sale includes Qantas’ new non-stop Sydney-Las Vegas service.

The sale spans the Pacific, Asia, and North and South America, with Qantas offering competitive fares across Economy, Premium Economy, Business and First Class for travel on select dates between August 2026 and June 2027.

Economy one-way fares start from $359 out of Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and the Gold Coast to Auckland, giving travellers an affordable option for their next trans-Tasman getaway.

“This sale is about giving Australians more choice when it comes to booking their next international trip, whether that’s a bucket-list trip to South America or a quick weekend escape to Auckland,” Qantas CEO International Cam Wallace said. “It’s also a great chance to lock in fares to some of our most popular international destinations, from Bali and Tokyo to Vancouver and Santiago.”

New Sydney-Las Vegas route

Qantas included its new non-stop Sydney-Las Vegas service in a sale for the first time, with Economy return fares starting from $1,199.

The airline will become the first in the world to operate a non-stop route between Australia and Las Vegas. The seasonal service will run from 29 December 2026 to 12 March 2027, saving customers up to five hours in travel time by removing the need to connect through another US city.

Qantas will operate the service on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

“For Australians looking to escape the peak of summer, Qantas is making Las Vegas an even more compelling getaway,” Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority president and CEO Steve Hill said. “January and February offer comfortable weather, ideal for hiking and exploring the surrounding desert landscapes.”

  • Tokyo – from $1,249 out of Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane
  • Vancouver – from $1,399 out of Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne
  • Santiago – from $1,799 out of Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Adelaide
