West Hollywood Travel + Tourism Board and Visit Los Cabos recently partnered to showcase their latest luxury experiences to five luxury travel advisors from Luxury Travel Collection.
For Australian travellers, West Hollywood and Los Cabos offer the perfect pairing of luxury destinations, blending the vibrant city life and iconic landmarks of West Hollywood, with tranquil beachside relaxation and world-class resorts of Los Cabos.
With just a short flight from LAX to San José del Cabo, these two destinations provide travellers with the perfect balance of excitement and indulgent relaxation, making for an unforgettable luxury experience.
Paola Zevallos, Australian trade representative for both organisations, curated two distinct itineraries filled with premium accommodations, exceptional dining, and curated experiences.

The participating advisors included Tanya von Konigsmark (Evans & Turner Travel Associates), Nicole Cooke (Travel Associates, Kenmore), Kirsten Bews (Gannon & Turner Travel Associates), Melanie Hardy (Ross & Turner Travel Associates), and Simone Kaye (World Wide Travel).
In West Hollywood, the group enjoyed a luxurious stay at The West Hollywood EDITION, design-forward hotel situated in the heart of the city. Their itinerary explored West Hollywood’s most iconic areas, including the Sunset Strip, Santa Monica Boulevard, and the Design District.
The group toured several of the city’s top-tier properties, including 1 Hotel West Hollywood, Pendry West Hollywood, Sunset Tower, Petit Ermitage, The London West Hollywood, and Sunset Marquis. A standout moment was a rejuvenating session at FaceGym, where the advisors experienced the iconic facial fitness treatment.
The Los Cabos itinerary included stays at three premier resorts: Chileno Bay Resort, Auberge Resorts Collection, Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal, and Nobu Los Cabos. Dining experiences included farm-to-table dining at Acre, COMAL, a restaurant highlighted in the Mexico Michelin Guide, as well as world-famous Nobu Los Cabos.
Adventurous activities included a private sailing tour, an immersive tour of El Triunfo with visits to local museums, and an interactive tortillas and salsa-making workshop. The advisors also enjoyed a coffee-tasting experience at the Waldorf Astoria and a travesía tasting—a nine-course taco and cocktail pairing experience.
“We immersed ourselves in the vibrant culture and luxury these destinations are renowned for,” Simone Kaye from World Wide Travel said of her West Hollywood and Los Cabos experience.
“In West Hollywood, we explored iconic landmarks like the Sunset Strip and Melrose Drive, indulging in upscale dining experiences at several amazing hotels. We visited fabulous new and iconic hotels, gaining valuable insights into what makes this area a prime destination for travellers.
“In Los Cabos, we were treated to breathtaking views of the region’s stunning beaches and landscapes. The warm hospitality of the locals and the lively atmosphere made each moment unforgettable. This trip truly deepened our appreciation for Los Cabos as a premier travel destination, and we can’t wait to share these incredible experiences with our clients!”
Reflecting on her time in West Hollywood and Los Cabos, Nicole Cooke of Travel Associates said West Hollywood’s vibrant atmosphere was infectious.
“From the iconic Sunset Strip to the trendy boutiques and galleries, every corner offered something new to discover,” she said. “And, Los Cabos, WOW. What a breathtaking and ‘Instagrammable’ destination. The resorts we stayed at, and visited are all stunning, having a different luxurious relaxed feel and ethos, they all offer something different, and there is differently a resort that everyone could fall in love with. The food and service were impeccable.”
