Nominations are now open for the Western Sydney Tourism Awards 2026 which celebrates excellence and innovation across the tourism sector in Southwest and Western Sydney all celebrated at a gala event on 16 October.
As Western Sydney enters a transformative year with the opening of the Western Sydney International (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport and airline ticket sales already underway, the region is firmly positioned on the global stage. The 2026 Awards recognise outstanding achievement across a wide range of categories, including hotels, music and arts, bars, leadership, tourism businesses, accessible tourism, major events, and tour operators.
“Now in their third year, the Western Sydney Tourism Awards bring together the champions of our industry to connect, celebrate excellence, and proudly showcase our region to both local and international markets,” Western Sydney Tourism chair Fazila Farhad said.
