WeTravel has announced the return of its Travel Innovation Summit, a free global virtual event dedicated to the multi-day travel industry now in its third year, taking place from 9 to 11 September.
This year’s program features speakers from OpenAI, Stripe, Arival and other leading organisations, covering AI, payments, sustainability and strategy.
The Summit is purposefully designed to bring all the elements of an in-person event into a virtual setting and free of charge for attendees. Last year more than 3,000 people took part.
“This Summit was created to offer real value to travel professionals at all levels whether they’re running a global team or managing a growing operation on their own,” WeTravel CEO Ted Clements said.
“The format is flexible by design: attend one session or all three days, from wherever you are because we want professional development and networking to be accessible to all.”
Attendees also have access to virtual networking lounges, regional breakout rooms and the opportunity to participate in interactive content “roast” sessions – offering live feedback on itineraries, pricing strategies and marketing content.
The 2025 agenda allows participants to build their own experience, selecting only the sessions that align with their roles and interests.
Sessions are designed to deliver immediate, actionable takeaways, without the cost or time commitment of attending an in-person event.
