Travel industry rejoice! Your burning questions, baffling inquiries and niggling queries about all things Queensland will no longer leave you stumped.

That’s because a new trade website, full of everything the industry needs to know about Queensland, has arrived from team in the know at Tourism & Events Queensland.

This pond of Queensland knowledge features a wide array of itineraries, stunning locations, traveller hotspot details and much more. And guiding the travel trade across the state is an interactive map that shows what separates each corner of Queensland from one another.

Here, the industry can read up on the roof top bars around the Brisbane river, the lush (and World Heritage Listed) rainforests between Cooktown to Townsville, the picturesque Surfers Paradise and loads more.

Also included in the trade website is a range of sales tools designed to assist travel agents, wholesalers, inbound tour operators, and Aussie Specialists to promote the unique selling points of Queensland. These tools can help industry inspire clients and maximise bookings and explore somewhere unknown. This section of the site features dedicated presentations and webinars for the industry looking to give clients an insider’s view of the state.

Amongst the range of sales tools is the trade brochure that has industry specialists sorted for the quick rundown on must-do events, Queensland’s wildlife calendar, range of experiences and more.

From sailing around at the Great Barrier Reef, lapping up the Southern Queensland countryside or 48-hours on Magnetic Island, the trade site has the client-curious travel industry set.

And don’t worry, you won’t click on the website to find it hasn’t been updated since John Howard was Prime Minister. This website is frequently updated with the latest key info you need for ensuring your clients have the best travel experience possible, with no unnecessary snags, hassles or hitches in anyone’s wagon.

Of course, we’re not expecting you to look up the website every day. That’s why Tourism & Events Queensland has an eDM program delivering info on new Queensland products, factsheets, experiences, aviation announcements and much more.
