It’s that time again when we check out who’s got the goods to keep customers happy, and who doesn’t quite cut the mustard.
Roy Morgan Research has announced the monthly Customer Satisfaction Award winners, with August pulling out the big guns to impress the person who is always right: the customer.
The hotly contested prize of best domestic airline and best domestic business travel airline of the month continues to be rivalled between Qantas and Virgin Australia.
This month, Virgin Australia took the crown for both titles, while Singapore Airlines pulled rank to take out the gold as international airline of the month.
Other winners outside of the travel realm included Apple as best mobile handset provider of the month, Foodland as supermarket of the month, Commonwealth as major bank of the month and First Choice Liquor as liquor store of the month.
The Customer Satisfaction Awards are based on data from Roy Morgan’s Consumer Single Source survey of over 50,000 consumers annually.
