Toberua Island Resort is encouraging travellers to dream big when it comes to planning their first post-coronavirus overseas trip.

Located under the World Resorts of Distinction banner, Toberua is offering 36 guests the unique opportunity to book-out the entire island – including its 16 beachfront bures – for their exclusive use.

Found in the middle of a peaceful lagoon, the privately-owned resort is set on four sandy acres of lush, tropical gardens easily accessible from the east coast of Fiji’s main island, Viti Levi.

WRD resort marketing manager Narelle Christoffersen-Langton said the resort’s new ‘Full Island Charter’ offer is perfect for travellers who want to spend quality time with their family and friends in a secluded setting.

“Have you ever fantasised about living your best life on a private island with your nearest and dearest? We’re here to make your dreams come true,” Christoffersen-Langton said.

“Whether you’re celebrating a milestone birthday, a special anniversary, renewal of vows, a wedding, or simply looking for an excuse to escape with your besties, now is the time to book the only destination befitting your wildest holiday imaginings.”

This exclusive experience starts from NZ$12,990 ($12,086) per group, per night and includes private rental of the entire island and its 16 bures for up to 36 adults; meals for up to 36 adults; and return transfers to and from Nausori Airport for every guest.

The island’s total capacity is 50 guests and extra adult pricing is applicable for every additional guest over and above 36.

“If there are 36 of you, that works out to be NZ$360 [$335] per person, per night for total privacy and the complete freedom to reign supreme with your group on one of the country’s most picturesque islands,” Christoffersen-Langton said.

For those guests who wish to add a touch of romance and celebration to their private island experience, Toberua’s Full Island Charter can also be combined with a complimentary ‘Renewal of Vows’ or ‘Sweet & Simple Wedding’ package, ordinarily valued at NZ$1,000 ($930) per couple.

The Full Island Charter offer is subject to availability and eligible for bookings of a minimum of three nights between now and 31 March 2022.

Sales are available between now and 30 November 2020 and there are no block-out dates, so interested travellers will need to book early to avoid disappointment.
