Zenith Payments, the parent company of TravelPay, has appointed James Swan as its chief financial officer.
Swan was most recently chief strategy & financial officer at Mint Payments. Over his career he has worked closely with travel agents and service providers, giving him a strong understanding of the challenges the travel industry faces.
“Zenith Payments has built solutions with real momentum, particularly with TravelPay’s position in the travel sector but also across education, real estate and other verticals,” Swan said. “I’m excited to join the team and help shape the next stage of growth.”
Swan will lead the Zenith Payments finance function and play a key part of the executive team on the group’s next phase of growth, including TravelPay’s continued expansion among travel businesses and suppliers.
“James joins at an important point for us, as we scale across the portfolio and TravelPay’s growth accelerates,” Zenith Payments chief executive officer Kevin Butler said. “He’ll bring the financial and strategic leadership to support that, and I’m confident he’ll be a strong addition to the executive team.”
In May, the Australian Travel Industry Association (ATIA) welcomed TravelPay as a major sponsor of the Beyond Borders on the Road (BBOTR) events.
